yea I think I've a few pairs of stock springs, and a few old struts. I'll only need two springs I think, chop each in half, and you have four springs!!

I may do something like this tho, but I'm more concerned about getting up there before anything else...

Are you aiming to have it ready for the 'nats? It'll be good to see it.

It should be ready in a few weeks time, reg'd and everything. I'm more concerned about it being reliable, cause I don't want any troubles come the roadtrip to nats

and besides, I'm sick of having it in my driveway and garage (ok dad's garage, but he's sick of it being in there too...) I just want to get it on theroad and drive, so things like wheels and suspension and stuff, I can fiddle with later on

yay for getting a UVP!! (unreg'd vehicle permit)

funny thing was that I saw another mk 1 down at vicroads getting inspected! ha, how bout that! wasn't anyone from the forum. but sure was a clean and very stock example! down to the orig wheels and carb and pollution gear!

anywho. Now i have to book in to get my exhaust made, and then get my car ready to drive on the road!

I also hastily finished my rear seat. It looks bad, but I dont care, I can fix it up later on if I wish to...I'll take some pics later if I can be bothered...

Yea I havn't been bothered to do the front panel. It's so far gone it's not worth it, It's go so much bog in it, it's just silly. So I'm going to what till I can source a (brand new) or really good nick front end, and tac that on, rather than wasting anymore time on the buggered one.

The globes need adapter spacers, to fix the centre bore, and MAJOR clearance issue. The spacer needs to be like 25 mm or something I think, cause the back of the rims is almost flat, so It fouls on the caliper. and I'm totalyl not low enough for them either! I might sell them to josh, they look better on his car anyways, and he can turn up the adapters at work!

anywho, I need an underconstruction sticker for my front end, like that red mk 1 with the white front right fender with the sprayed on sticker/sign thing. If any one knows what i'm talking about...
